Globe Trekking With Little Ones

Travel during the holidays has become a challenging feat! Most of us do it anyway because it's a time to reconnect with friends and family, use or lose that annual companion ticket and importantly your PTO. In the past, we packed Everything we thought we couldn't live without and I'll tell you, it costs a pretty penny for all that extra luggage not to mention peace of mind from having to lug it about the airport especially when traveling with little ones. Here's our quick guide to a somewhat stress-free vacay.

Travel checklist:

  1. Unless the airport is in your backyard plan to arrive at least 3 hours prior to flight departure

  2. Consider trip insurance

  3. Don't overpack: create an editable packing list to simplify choices

  4. Expect delays so have a snack and activity bag

  5. Utilize mobile checkin and quick access to your boarding passes from your wallet app

  6. Talk to your kids about the trip details to set expectations and share family contact information

  7. Consider enrolling in TSA PreCheck and Global Entry traveler programs

  8. Download favorite shows ahead of time to avoid paying for airline wifi

  9. Be flexible...anything could happen
